Government High School Buea is a Government institution with a co-educational focus, accepting both boys and girls from all over the Republic of Cameroon and from the rest of the world. Government High School Buea is situated in the South West Province of Cameroon, Precisely in Bokwango Buea, The head quarters of the province.

Our services include, training the minds of children between the ages of 9 to 24years in general education. Some of the subjects taught include English Language, French Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Philosophy, Literature, Economics, computer studies, citizenship, geology, etc.

Our History
Government High School Buea was created in 1987 as Government Secondary School (G.S.S) Buea. The school opened its doors to over two hundred and eleven (211) students on 15th September 1987 in the classrooms of Government Primary school Likoko Membea with Mr. Neba Young as The pioneer Principal. In 1989, the school moved to its present site with six form one streams, five form two streams, five form three streams and four form four and five streams.
